LAUNCH DAY A SUCCESS
Tuesday, October 4th, 2011Thank you to everyone who attended the Play area launch day and made it a success. To see it finished was brilliant after 4 years of planning and fund finding. Special thanks should go to Brian Johnson (St Helens Council) who has guided us through the lengthy process. His help has been invaluable. Thanks also to the funders St Helens Youth Council, St Helens Council Ward Committee, Arena Homes, Helena Partnerships and Riverside Housing. Your support, commitment and faith in the project and the community is greatly appreciated. The day was enjoyed by both young and old alike, and the team from Kids “R” US kept the children entertained while Pudding Caterers provided the BBQ.
Further information regarding opening hours will be displayed shortly around the play area, and further work to resurface the games area will commence soon. Tree’s have been cut back to allow clear coverage of the area for the CCTV camera’s.
