Nicola is always happy to meet residents to discuss any matters.She can visit you in your home or you can arrange to see her at the Westra centre if you prefer. In addition Nicola also holds regular surgeries at the centre, the next one will take place on TUESDAY 16th MARCH 1pm / 3pm.

RESIDENT BOARD

Many of you will have read the “In Touch” magazine about the new resident board. Arena are leading the way in
resident involvement . The resident board is yet another example of how residents can actively become involved with how Arena provide services to their residents. We are pleased to announce that Lynn Arnold (Chair of Westra )was successfully accepted as a board member. Lynn Said “I am very happy that I was chosen, especially as I am the only board member from St Helens. I would also like to encourage other residents who are thinking of becoming more involved. There are many ways to do this, from attending the resident forums or becoming resident inspectors. If anyone would like to have a chat about the various ways they can contribute, then please give me a call at the centre to arrange it.” Information can also be accessed on the Arena web site, just click the Arena link on the right of this page to be directed to the site.

GARDENING UPDATE

Complaints about the new Garden Contractors are being received on a daily basis. Can we assure residents that we are currently in discussions with the management of both the contractors and Arena to address the situation. The standard of service is not acceptable and we will do everything we can to ensure that our resident’s issues are taken in to account. We hope to resolve the problems shortly, and we will keep you informed of any progress.

WESTRA Drop in Centre, 34 Lewis Street (one to one surgery due to low attendance in previous meetings)

1. Introductions

Nicola Croft (CSM) introduced herself to the resident.

Agreed minutes of last meeting are a true record.

 Anti Social Behaviour

Resident advised of ASB from a certain property.

ASB case has been opened and in hand already. See ASB task ID 637.

Case closed due to no further issues after warning letters issues.
