The Westra committee are a group of residents who live on the Westfield Estate in St Helens, Merseyside.
We are a fully constituted Tenant and Resident Association.
We work in partnership with various agencies such as

  • Merseyside Police and our neighbourhood Inspector, Dave Westby
  • Helena Housing.
  • Arena Housing.
  • Councillor David Crowther.
  • Councillor John Beirne.
  • Various Council departments.
  • We also sit on the Councils Town Centre Ward Committee.

Do you remember the good old day’s when everyone knew their neighbours and we looked out for each other? Well this is what Westra hopes to bring about, a sense of community back to our estate.

  • We aim to take unused spaces and develop them for community use.
  • Plan community activities that will bring people out from their home and mix with each other.
  • Get our youths off the streets and engage them in helping the older members of our community and give them some pride in the estate and themselves.
  • Westra have been established since 2006 and already we have achieved more than some TRAs, who have a much longer track record than we do.With your help we can make our estate a sustainable community.
